MEET THE TEAM

A quick overview of the guys that make the magic happen

Guillaume Fortin

Guillaume Fortin

President and Artist

Guillaume is by definition a full-time artist. While he works as a graphic designer during daylight, his real self only comes out once he’s in the shop, just like the superheroes he paints. Being heavily inspired by the universe of Star Wars, Guillaume is also an renowned cosplayer that is no stranger to the convention circuits. His absolute specialty, the infamous Boba Fett!

Patrick Verrier

Patrick Verrier

Vice-President, Treasurer & Artist

Patrick has been making a living from his art for as long as he can remember. He has owned art galleries in the past and knows exactly what is needed to succeed in the art business. With more than 30 years of experience, he brought with him many artistic techniques that shaped what would eventually become the stapled "Grendel Look".

Frederic Ferland

Frederic Ferland

Artist

The one who started as a young padawan in the hands of Patrick became of the great Jedi Knight of this era. Frederick joined Grendel with a motivation to be insanely creative. Over the years, he has developed a particularly useful talent to put on canvas the female character of our favorite comics. Also, as a redhead, he does not have a soul.

Francis Holtken

Francis Holtken

Webmaster & Secretary

While not an artist himself, Francis has always been a geek at the very core of his being. Already one of Grendel’s best client, it was a very small step to start getting involved. He brings to the company a more down-to-earth approach to business and handles most of the nightmare that is paperwork.

Benjamin Martin

Benjamin Martin

Community Manager

Benjamin‘s incessant overuse of social media in his daily life made him the perfect candidate to handle all of Grendel social media accounts. As the community manager, he also ends up being the closest thing we have to a marketing division. Too bad that it isn’t reflected on his paycheck. Fun fact: There is an old prophecy, announcing the arrival of a champion, who might rival Benjamin on DC knowledge, therefore reestablishing the balance in the force.
